Benjo Tan, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Karma Doctors & Associates in Palm Desert and the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. He has many years of experience treating patients with complex psychiatric disorders, offering them an exceptional quality of life.
Benjo has over 10 years of experience in psychiatric and behavioral health. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of California at Irvine. He also graduated at the top of his class with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the American University of Health Sciences in Signal Hill, California.
Benjo holds a master’s degree from Walden University, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He’s passionate about improving the overall well-being of patients struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Benjo’s compassionate demeanor puts patients at ease during visits, and he always gives patients a voice in their care.
He maintains his medical credentials with continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in general psychiatry. He’s board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a mental health and psychiatric nurse practitioner.
